SurfWriter Girls Celebrate Seven Years


Lucky Seven!

Greek mathematician Pythagoras, the Father of Numbers, thought 7 was a special number that affects our lives in many ways – seven days in a week, seven colors in the rainbow, seven notes in a music scale. He wasn't alone. Seven is prominent in religion, science and literature. And gamblers, of course, just think that it's lucky.


That's good to know because for SurfWriter Girls it's our 7th year! Since writing our first blog post on July 20, 2011, SurfWriter Girls Sunny Magdaug and Patti Kishel have written 240 feature stories about the people, places, events, organizations, and more that have an impact on the quality of life on our planet, whether it's the ocean, beach, environment or lifestyle. 

And, with the launch of our sister online publication Surf'n Beach Scene Magazine three years ago, we've been able to bring you even more stories!
