Lucky Seven!
Written by SurfWriter Girls Sunny Magdaug and Patti Kishel
Greek mathematician Pythagoras, the
Father of Numbers, thought 7 was a special number that affects our lives in
many ways – seven days in a week, seven colors in the rainbow, seven notes in a
music scale. He wasn't alone. Seven is prominent in religion, science and
literature. And gamblers, of course, just think that it's lucky.
That's good to know because for SurfWriter
Girls it's our 7th year! Since writing our first blog post on July 20,
2011, SurfWriter Girls Sunny Magdaug and Patti Kishel have written 240 feature stories about the people,
places, events, organizations, and more that have an impact on the quality of
life on our planet, whether it's the ocean, beach, environment or
lifestyle.
And, with the launch of our sister

we've been able to bring you even more stories!
Some of the stories we've shared
