Surf Artist Robb Havassy
celebrates the joys of surfing and a father's pride in his daughter's
accomplishments in his new young adult book Marin's Wave.
Inspired by his daughter Marin's
developing love for surfing and living the Pura Vida lifestyle in Costa
Rica, Havassy tells about her adventures.
After moving his family from
California to Costa Rica to be closer to nature and a more relaxed lifestyle,
Havassy has continued to focus on his art and family, while becoming part of
the local community.
SurfWriter Girls Sunny Magdaug and
Patti Kishel are big fans of Robb Havassy.
Through his art and books, he really
conveys the essence of surfing.
His epic books Surf Story and
Surf Story II showcase the stories of the world's leading surf artists
and photographers.
Now, on this return trip to California,
Havassy has the opportunity to share Marin's Wave - a story for the next
generation of surfers.
