Mutts Go Green
Written by SurfWriter Girls Sunny

The Mutts Earl and Mooch are on a green mission to protect the planet.
Patrick McDonnell's new book, Mutts Go Green: Earth
Friendly Tips and Comic Strips, is out just in time for Earth Day
(April 22nd).
Featuring everyone's favorite dog and cat duo, Earl and
Mooch, the book is a special kids' collection – adults will love it, too! – of
the popular comic strip, focusing on the environment, ecology, and animal
education.
SurfWriter Girls Sunny and Patti couldn't wait to get this
special book to see Earl and Mooch's latest adventures and all the ways we can
protect the planet.
McDonnell’s advice for making the world a better place is
simple: “Keep it kind, keep it clean, keep it wild, keep it green.”
McDonnell, who loves animals of all kinds, is a member of
the board of directors of The Humane Society of the United States and the Fund
for Animals. His warmth and compassion come through in all his comic strips,
books, and other artistic works.
A true advocate for the planet, McDonnell’s Mutts are the
perfect champions for Mother Earth.
Check out Mutts Go
Green and find out what you can do to celebrate Earth Day and make the
world a better place for people, animals, and the environment.
